The Wolverine series of the Ethernet extender allows you to create cost-effective Ethernet networks over long distances, with data rates up to 15.3 Mbit / s. The SHDSL technology allows you to reuse many types of pre-existing copper cables. This can result in significant financial savings as it is not necessary to install expensive fiber cables. Depending on the characteristics of the cable, it is possible to reach distances up to 15 km (9.3 mi). The DDW-120 is configured using DIPswitch only, ensuring fast installation. The DDW-120 is designed for use in industrial applications. The wide power supply range, complete diagnostics and TBU protection make it ideal for installation and monitoring in industrial applications. Only industrial grade components are used which give the DDW-120 a 1,180,000 hour MTBF and guarantees a long life. A wide operating temperature range of -40 to + 70 ° C (-40 to + 158 ° F) can be achieved without moving parts. The DDW-120 has been tested by both Westermo and external test houses to meet many EMC requirements, standard vibration isolation and shock, all at the highest levels suitable for heavy industrial and railway environments. The DDW-120 is transparent to multicast and VLAN packages, allows VPN and Ipsec pass-through and can be used with protocols such as MODBUS / TCP and Profinet IO.
