A compact design with a power range of 10 to 36 VDC makes the unit ideal for industrial applications. The router is also equipped with 2 Ethernet ports and can operate at temperatures from -25 to +70 degrees. The stability of the mobile connections can be influenced by different parameters and in order to ensure constant connectivity, the MRD series is equipped with an encrypted communication via VPN. The unit works very well with any type of SIM card, such as the SIM IP static, the M2M SIM or a data SIM or CSD (Circuit Switched Data). The configuration of the unit is very simple thanks to the built-in web interface, without the need for special AT commands or similar. The device can also provide both management and monitoring via SMS, for example you can send an SMS to start a VPN.
