The PII-2G is a high-end PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector, combining high performance with industrial robustness. It is suitable for PoE applications such as video surveillance and other applications where the final devices must be powered via the Ethernet cable. The PoE concept is growing rapidly thanks to the significant advantages it offers when it comes to installation costs, reliability, compactness, flexibility, etc. Using a PoE injector, any project can enjoy these benefits, whether it's a network upgrade or an initial installation. The PII-2G has dual injection ports with gigabit capability. It is compatible with both IEEE 802.3af (max 15.4 W) and 802.3at (max 30 W) so that it can also handle high-power devices such as PTZ cameras and wireless access points. The Gigabit ports allow the connection also to devices with high bandwidth. In contrast to many power supplies supplied with PD (Powered Devices), full compliance with IEEE 802.3af / at provides protection against overcurrent / short circuit and overvoltage / undervoltage, protecting so the PD from damage. The unit can easily be attached to a standard DIN rail along with other industrial equipment in a cabinet. No device configuration is required. All you need is a power supply suitable for making PoE features available on the network.
